Udmurt, Khanty and Komi Mission Teams
During the summer of 2008, Estonian Evangelical Alliance's Evangelism and Missions Workgroup sent out four mission teams totalling 17 individuals from numerous different denominations. The teams helped with a Komi youth camp, did friendship evangelism in Khanty villages, participated in evangelistic concerts with the Udmurt Christian youth team Shumpoton (Joy). And our extreme team hiked nearly 100 km (60 miles) through the tundra, to build relationships with Khanty reindeer herders.

Anu and Juha Väliaho Among the Maris of Birsk
Anu Väliaho is a member of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church. Together with her Finnish husband, Juha, they have served the Mari people in Russia since 1993.
